No doilies or ornaments are allowed on end tables. They must be thrown on the floor. Books will be given the same treatment. Antique books will be shown no mercy either. Age will not earn special consideration. The front load washer is a great oracle to be worshiped and sacrificed to. Pens are to be examined with quiet intensity. And then tasted. String may hold the secrets of the universe and must be handled with care and shown great reverence. Cosmic dust and dirt should be consumed with gusto. It is the secret to endless energy. Eyelashes and noses are for picking. Best if they belong to someone else. Sleep is for the weak. During this time the parental units plot against freedom of movement and exploration. Fight sleep at all costs.
